Tal Nagourney is studying for his PhD in electrical engineering. He enjoys high level research, and currently works on creating resonators for a MEMS gyroscope system. He does so with an innovative blowtorch moulding process. These will be used as part of a navigation system that works without GPS. After he graduates, Tal plans to continue researching new MEMS technology.

Khalil Najafi and Tzeno Galchev explain how scavenging energy from the environment works. More information
